|Recommended: YesFirst month — I love living here so far It's very quiet and the apartment was beautiful when we moved in. The only minor complaint I have is the organization of the mail, but I have never lived in a complex this large before so I understand that it can be difficult to manage. Love it and would recommend to anyone
|Recommended: YesBeautiful — Beautiful place to live
Needs better parking situation but overall satisfied
|Recommended: YesEtl — Just moved in. The Property Staff is very helpful, the apartments are clean and appliances look new. No complaints..
|Recommended: YesGreat Place — Nice place no parking
|Recommended: YesParking — This continues to be an issue with no resolution. We have a signed lease that does not say that as a resident we are ineligible for street parking.
This needs to be fixed.
|Recommended: NoGreat property, needs street parking availability — I would say it's great living here if you don't have a car. If you have a car it is not great. We need to be able to park and it was not in the lease saying we couldn't. I have had many tickets and this needs to be resolved.
|Recommended: YesThe property is fantastic even beyond just the fact that it is located in Charlestown's Navy Yard. — For me, Ropewalk's management team is the primary reason why I have felt so well taken care of as a resident here thus far throughout my entire four months' stay here. In myriad ways, our Site Supervisor, John L.'s alongside Jojo's persistence at serving me and their other tenants with exceptional competence, care, and high accessibility--as well as the way he runs and oversees all of Ropewalk--has made my experience overwhelmingly positive thus far.
|Recommended: YesParking — I heard the reason we aren’t able to get parking permits by the city of Boston is because the contractors told the city that they were priciest off street parking for their residents. This is incredibly unprofessional and I would not have moved in here had I known that street parking would be unavailable to me. I called the office several times asking for their attention and MONTHS later all they did to let us know was ask us to sign a document saying that we would PAY upwards of 200 a month to park in a garage. Not impressed with the way this was handled by management and frankly could be litigated. I still love the unit itself which is why I still gave the place overall a good rating. The parking situation needs to have a better resolution.
|Recommended: YesBeautiful but there is a few negatives. — Its a beautiful space, it's clear they cut some corners on costs of construction quality but the location and amount of space is amazing. For example, there is a few unfinished pieces in our loft floor, floorboards, etc and the rooms do not have any lighting the loft does . The location is amazing, minutes to the water, restaurants, and many historic attractions. I love the amount of space each unit has which makes the little things not much of a bother.
|Recommended: YesNice Apartment Building, Nice people, Parking Difficult - Pleasant — Love living here so far. The Ropewalk staff are all very pleasant and friendly. The apartments are nice and we feel welcomed and at home. Parking is the only real difficulty about living here, but this was a known concern prior to moving in.
|Recommended: YesModern twist on a historic piece of the Navy Yard — It is a cool spot with a great aesthetic. The maintenance and facility crew is very responsive and kind which is an important part of my living experience.
|Recommended: YesLove the location and my unit. — This is be perfect location for me. I am able to walk to all the locations I need to get to. This was definitely a great option for me. Everyone is friendly and Ropewalk staff is awesome.
|Recommended: YesGorgeous building - fantastic location - dog friendly — I love it so far... just moved back into the city after 30 years in the suburbs and couldn't have picked a better spot to get back into my city roots
